About 195-0 Game

195-0 Game is a free browser version of the 195-0 world draft: pick five people, give them cabinet jobs, and find out how many of the world's 195 nations your regime can take before it collapses.

Why this version exists

Several 195-0 sites appeared within days of each other, and most of them share two problems. They fetch every candidate portrait from a third-party API while you play, which is why rounds stall; and the strategy guides they publish describe a scoring formula the game does not use.

This build fixes both. Every portrait is fetched once, resized and served from our own CDN, so a round resolves without a single external request. And every number in ourscoring and rolesguides is generated directly from the game's own scoring data on each deploy, then checked against the engine by an automated test before the site ships.

On the people in the draft

Candidates are real public figures, and the game is satire. Outcomes are randomly generated fiction; nothing in a result reflects the views, actions or endorsement of anyone named. If you appear in the draft and would rather not, tell us and we will remove you.
